Wrexham need 6 from 3 to make it impossible for us.

They've got 4 from their last 3. Last season they got 4 from their final 3 games.

Obviously they are still favourites, but there are still straws to be grasped at.

I doubt they can be THAT lucky twice in one season.

Well the fact that we failed to score the penalty was the reason for defeat, for you Laddo the home defeat to Macclesfield is why we are in the NL

Why don't people just accept the truth, I, I REPEAT WE ARE NOT GETING AUTOMATIC- eventually this will sink in whatever drivel people keep coming up with

    And yet ...
the only definite 'will win' in Wrexham's remaining games is home to Yeovil. Visits to Barnet and Torquay are tough games and might well only yield draws. And the home match to Boreham Stiff could well produce a surprise result. All we have to do is win our remaining fixtures outright! Where there's life there's hope
    El Sid,
Yes, it looked a most improbable scenario last Tuesday but I note that odds on Notts for the title have dropped to 11/2 and betting on Rectum has dropped from 1/20 to 1/9.
how those odds will change further if Yokel Town squeeze a draw out of them at Wrexham.
If Notts win both of their remaining fixtures, we could easily become the ultimate party poopers. Another great twist in the Hollywood movie. Wouldn't it be good if it all came down to Rectum v Cheaterfield at Wemberley?

As you would say Davy "Wrong" on both counts.

If we defend better for at least 2 of the 3 goals the penalty miss would have been with the scoreline at 2-2. In a game like you can't simply pin it to one moment.

As for the Macclesfield game, which you apparently just can't get over, your reasoning that one single game in a full season was the reason we got relegated is in my opinion laughable. This has been down to death, explained to you many times before by many many people and I know you will never change your mind so I ain't going to both to spell out the obvious to you once again Davy. Plus that games gone so we can't discuss it countygump says so

I agree we aren't getting automatic, I predicted Wrexham (I know easy obvious choice but that's the correct prediction two years in a row so I'll take it? , so not great surprise. My heart gave up on the title after Daggenham game where we were incredibly unlucky not to win let alone lose

Footballs about hope and optimism Davy and unfortunately you have to accept not everyone is like you.
I’m pretty sure it’s gone but it won’t stop me monitoring their next 2 home games with the hope they just might slip up.

It was but you wont admit it fine, still does not change that it is true
And your other theory Notts were relegated because of bad owners does not hold up as Macclesfield were even in more of a mess than us.
What angered me is that they should have been thrown out that season, having not paid players and staff for months , and not even playing in the following season

I can understand hope when its justified, such as if we had drawn against wrexham, or after tuesday and say Wrexham lose and we are 1 point behind, but blind hope to deal with the truth just a coping mechanism, similar to people on minum wage jobs that think they are going to make it big someday haha , pure delusion
