or we go to Motherwell which gives them their 2 home games and our 3 away games. Balance of home and away head to head fixtures of the 4 teams in relegation battle maintained.

Aye, but Saints will have to go to Killie in that case.

Basically, whichever one of us goes to Well a third time, the other goes to Killie. Ie one of us gets f*cked over by playing on plastic a third time this season.

The other thing giving me the fear is the influence of Sky as that’s been well highlighted in the reports yesterday. Obviously they want the last OF game and the Septic’s last home game getting the trophy. They will however want a key ‘relegation’ game as well and us v Killie has to be right up there on their wanted list. Given one of our home dates is likely to be the unappealing midweek night, what’s the betting that they’re also pushing for us away to Killie live on Sky?

    .........on the last day.

Surely the can't influence who plays who? That's the SPFL's job. They can however, dictate when the games are played.

The last day is usually the bottom two as at the split so, having dragged ourselves up to 10th that would mean Killie v County on the final day. If the most argued for outcome for us takes place that would leave us guaranteed an away day on the final day. Hopefully we would have done the business before then because I don't fancy still being in the mix, going to Livi, Perth or Motherwell having to get something taking into account 2 or 3 points would be guaranteed split between Killie and County that day.

Really can't understand all this nonsense about the polis getting a say as to which fixture date the bigot brothers play each other because they don't want it when the slightly less obnoxious bigot brother can win the league. Seemingly they don't want that to happen when they play each other in a stadium with only one support. This week though they play a cup semi with full mixed support which is in effect a cup final and earlier this season had an actual old firm final where a trophy was won! Makes no sense to me. Also if possible it makes me hate the both of them, their supporters and the way the meedyuh pander to them even more.

That's only happened three times since 2015 as far as I can see?

The Sun are reporting the OF is going to be played on matchday two, with Celtic going to Hearts on matchday one. If Celtic don't win at Hearts, they clinch the title at Ibrox.

Is that the bottom two as at the split playing on the final day or the bottom two after match 37 playing on the final day? I haven't done the research, just going on what others have said and from the papers who admittedly often get it wrong.

Bottom two after 33 games. Take last year as an example. The Fun & the Fermers were bottom two at the split but played each other on matchday one.
