When Greg Fenton changed his mind about the number of tickets on sale to season ticket holders on Monday 1st May 2023 at 10am in the Ticket Office he should have immediately posted this information on the Dundee Football Club website.
Had he done so this would have saved a lot of people turning up several hours before the Ticket Office was due to open at 10am hoping to be able to purchase a ticket.
You would have thought that the management of Dundee Football Club would have learnt their lesson after a similar ticketing fiasco in July 2020 when season tickets went on sale during the Covid pandemic. Once again Dundee supporters queued up for hours to purchase their season ticket because the management of the Club had not done their homework.
In my opinion this shambles could have been avoided if Dee4life had both their Primary and Secondary representatives on the Dundee Football Club Limited board of directors as their representatives would have first hand knowledge of how to fairly put the tickets on sale.

Told 1 figure yesterday, tickets allocated and paid for.

Told today they made a mistake and we’re getting 8 less.

    Shambles.

The Foundation was originally planned to be on a standalone page on the Dee4life website and run by a group of trustees.
This would have ensured that the money was handed over for specific things requested by the management of Dundee Football Club and not poured into the Dundee Football Club bank account to be squandered on anything.

There's certain things you have to get right, so you check, double check and triple check.

Worryingly the money from supporters seems to be the least of their concerns. I think maybe that's why they appear to do so little to build revenues by enthusiastic marketing ideas.
The Club website is a shambles and out of date.
The number of 1893 Foundation members has not been updated since April 2022 and unlike other SPFL clubs with similar fundraising schemes the management of Dundee Football Club never tell us how much is raised annually by the 1893 Foundation.

If correct then that is a sacking offence.
Alternatively the Dundee Football Club Directors could hand over some of their complementary tickets to make up the shortfall.

And so I'm fair if it's a DSA error same rules apply.

There's a Fawlty towers episode where basil sacks Polly and tells guests to leave after he misinterpreted situation.

    His wife puts him right.

And he asks her " oh my god what have I done, what am I going to do"

She says " tell them you made a mistake "

    He then goes loopy.

I think we are re running Fawlty towers, episode 7......the tickets.

It’s QP fault. Why do you need to criticise the club at every opportunity?

As I've said QP fault by bending the rules

DFC have no real ticket policy despite this scenario possibly unfolding since Dec/Jan.

I'm sure they can't really be blamed for either DSA or DFC not being able to count to 72.
