We can have 7 on the bench, Slocombe always seems to be a good voice in the changing room, I suspect it will be more as a back up keeper to help bring on other keeps which might help him go into coaching Originally Posted by GranthamPie

Big voice in the dressing room, back-up player/coaching role hopefully.
Connor Ripley is out of contract, probably a long shot though. Stephen Henderson is a free agent, James Belshaw only has a year left on his contract

He's not ready yet, he played a coupe of games and his distribution just wasn't what was required in how we play, he needs to develop and that needs to be away from the club at the moment. He should get a decent gig at a national league side but he's not ready for the number 1 spot yet Originally Posted by OP67

Agree with this, he did ok when he came in but I never felt he was ready, especially now we’re in league two. It is hard for a keeper to get game time unless you’re a special talent like that guy from Sunderland we had. Originally Posted by Chicken Balti Pie
