So many people seem to be wrong. So few people are always right. It's a shame that figures for away support in the dim and distant past were never available. Imagine how humiliating it would have been knowing you only had one supporter in the crowd. Think also of those determined groups of people who did actually attend all those away games who have suddenly been written out of history.
Why do some people just want to constantly do the club down? Why do the majority of us who truly support our team actually give any kind of credence or credibility to those whose sole satisfaction in life is slagging off our team?
I know! I know! You've all got the right to have opinions and I agree you should be able to express them.
However, those people have to realise that us giving OUR opinions is not the same as denying you your rights.
But..flat-earthers, conspiracy theorists and seers of little green men also have opinions and have a right to believe in them. But that doesn't make anything they believe true!

I can never quite understand why my thoughts are wrong and, indeed as you imply, one person and one person alone knows everything. If, as suggested, football was played today on the basis of getting the ball and just running at the opposition goal how dull would that be even if modern day defenders did stand aside and let them. Never heard owt so ridiculous in all my life. The game has developed in all aspects and those pesky coaches have taught footballers to defend to try and stop goals. Nature if the game and all that. But hey ho. I will just continue to be put in my place by those who "know better".

I was at away games when I saw no other Crewe fan there and one game when the club Captain signed a match ticket for me and my friend and we were the only Crewe fans there at the game and ditto at the Barrow game away back then. I don't make things up. Many on here do though and I have seen far better teams in the past here than we have had here and so my opinions are genuine. I am a life long fan of this club since I was aged 11 and will continue to be so..You lot make stuff up but few of you really know how to play this game and I should know when I read opinions on here..Being critical of players that want to sod off without giving anything back is pathetic and they deserve all the bad publicity they get. I have no time for them. This team and club is not a patch of the club that I grew up with. When a team can go 95 mins without one shot on goal is the time all of the million pound academy has really lost the plot and we have a board that keeps on multiple managers and coaches around for years even when they are useless.. They clearly do not understand this club or know about football.ie like many fans on here don't either..Jimmy Greaves knew more about football than most people and he agreed 100% with my views on academies and why Brentford who we used to play against regularly and now they in what league and what league are we in? No academy player could play on the pitches we had back then. Most get injured as they are too young and one season in the first team and they want away..

I do know a lot more about football than most on here as I have played at a good standard and I had not one coaching lesson ever as no player had in the past and the players today don't know how to play this game and neither to the poor quality coaches we have had...The game has not improved as rarely do you see players taking other players on or fast wingers and great centre halves...We had centre forwards like Frank Lord that has the record of hat tricks here. He was a really great player at this level and great to watch, he needed no coaching as none of them did as they had natural ability that got them playing pro football. Don Revie ruined this game with his negative tactics as baseline tennis has with that game...ie all the skills have disappeared. This game is about scoring goals and winning games. We play in our own half and have one or two shots on goal and you think that is progress, Timmy? And BTW, the games were a lot cheaper to watch back then too..

Did they let the great players of the past just stand there? No the game was passionate and ugly and great..Now its a nothing game where players are paid vast sums for little skill.

Leave it out Gazan, he’s not worth it. He’s allowed to post whatever rubbish he wants to, he told us so. I don’t read his posts anymore, I read a dozen or so the past few weeks and came to the conclusion that I don’t need to, I already know the contents.

I guess I know more about football than most on here and so it probably hurts to read my posts...

So Gary Linnekar and Alan Shearer get a million quid a year when they virtually spout the same stuff week after week and yet millions tune in to watch them, saying the same old boring stuff ...You are dead lucky you have a wise old head on here that played the game and watched great players of the past and have been to some grounds to watch Crewe that none of you have been to...It's actually some on here that should feel insulted, not me. You are stuck with me and I will continue to post, so hard luck. I can tell you this for nothing. Crewe will downgrade its academy sooner rather than later and so will you all come on here and congratulate me...

Its no good most of you posting about Crewe's results and lack of performance each week and suggesting NOTHING about how to rectify that situation. I suppose having a great professional engineering brain and job helps...

You don't know the difference matey...I walked all around the away grounds in those days when there was no separation of fans and you think there were groups of other Crewe fans there hiding away? Dream on! I'm not sure you are a Crewe fan, maybe a Stockport one?
