We have a small academy set up and no under 21 or under 23 development teams (old reserve teams). That is a big part of the problem.
That's where we are going wrong with the youngsters coming through. We should be in an under 21 league like Barnsley,Blackpool and Bolton where they get more football time and we can monitor their progress, not sending them out to non league clubs. Our squad size would be more on a par with most clubs then.

I think this is one of the reasons Warnock didn’t want the job full time,we look good on the outside but in the inside we a years behind we haven’t even got our own training ground.

Read my post earlier I call it as I see it.
I’ve loyalty to RUFC if it’s good I’ll say so if not I’ll say so.
Try it it’s called been objective.
MT imo is getting closer to been at risk some is not his fault some is.
I’m only loyal to my club it’s that simple.
Instead of having a go give your honest views on what you see instead of trying to score petty points.

Second time I've been disappointed tonight. If you want me to be objective, here goes.

Matt has had 46 league games in charge; the equivalent of a full season. His record of ppg is below 1. That suggests, based on previous seasons, that if he continues along this path that we will be relegated. That's objectivity.

What you and I 'see' on the pitch isn't objective. We 'see' the same thing, but we interpret it differently.

I see a team that doesn't appear to have a cohesive plan when moving from defence to attack. I see players hitting the ball to each other (when its not hit over the top) and not knowing when to move, or where. You must see something different, so tell me what.

I've been supporting the Millers since 1958. I don't think my loyalty is in question.

What about Douglas? Centre back got the height other clubs bring young players through we don't.

I agree Jimmy. MT has to take responsibility for those 3 as most of us were very concerned at them signing and taking up squad places so early in the window. That's on him. He's been very unlucky with others and deserves time to go again with players returning. If performances stay similar after that, fair enough and yes, it could be too late to save us by then re championship but who cares. League 1 is much more fun anyways.

Who is questioning your loyalty I talked about mine not yours.
I see him trying to play differently on the front foot but not just hoofing it. It works to some degree at home but away it hasn’t.
We’ve struggled under most managers away from home at this level it’s no surprise.
I agree with you about his ppg over his time here we’ve had some good performances and tactically he’s better than previously.
At the moment though we look lost away from home and that can’t continue.
He kept us up last year this season we’re struggling so far.
It’s too early to pull the plug imo the last manager had far too much loyalty he needs more time but as already stated he’s making stupid comments.
I think the next 5 games are critical for MT still think the football at home is far better than hoofball and no plan B. Away for must improve.

    Today our first 3 touches of the ball were;
1 - kick off, ball played back to ?
2 - ball played forward, high and long
3 - the long ball came back, so we repeat.

2 and 3 set the tone for a lot of the first half.

Just watched brief highlights both their goals showed lack of height at the back. Arvin looks worth a start.

5 points from 9 simply isn't good enough.

Another away game where players are clearly told not to break lines or go through thirds.

We are static, easy to play against and easy to score against.

We didn't lay a finger nay mind a glove on Cardiff who are the worst team I've seen this season. Unfortunately we're just worse in everything we do.

Even Exeter fans wouldn't take MT back I know I've asked them!

The board won't take much more of this, they will say they've backed MT at a level not seen since Steve Evans and it's taken us precisely backwards.

We're going to lose most away from home so why not just effing go for it?

This no risk tentative approach away from home is actually worse than what Warney tried.

Remember that season we went down and broke all sorts of records? We're on the same ball park.

Sorry MT I truly wanted you to succeed. But you don't understand the DNA of this club and what we're about and how far we can actually go.

Some blame must go to Tony Stewart shouldn't have gambled in the first place, because that's what he did gambled. If Tony was serious about our Championship ambitions he'd have got an unemployed Chris Wilder in
