I was an official Dee4life volunteer for over two a half years but there was never a cheep from you. You obviously did not bother reading the minutes of the Dee4life board of directors meetings where you would have read that I attended these meeting as a non voting guest.
I reluctantly agreed to become a Co-opted Dee4life director after Ian Baird resigned as a director and secretary of Dee4life to avoid having a special meeting to try to get Dee4life members to put their name forward to become a Dee4life director.
In hindsight I should have remained a Dee4life official volunteer as I would have avoided a lot of grief from keyboard warriors like yourself.
But you can't 'join' the DSA. You can only affiliate to DSA by joining a supporters' club most of which are aimed at supporters who want to travel to away games regularly. Joining a supporters' club is pointless for the majority of fans who either don't go to many away games or who prefer to travel to away games by train or car. It's beyond ridiculous for Nelms to suggest the open letter group should 'join' the DSA and shows how out of touch he is.
Did you know that he once suggested Dee4Life (DFCSS at the time) should affiliate to DSA? Clueless.

I'm a member of a club that's part of DSA.....I know nothing about DSA, when they meet, if they have a website, their rules, how many on their committee, if they have a chairman, how many clubs, how many you need in a club.....pretty much zip.
DSA is irrelevant to me and I'm a so called member. 🙄
I know that individual Dundee supporters cannot join the DSA unless they set up their own supporters club and pay their annual affiliation fee.
Nelms obviously wanted to keep the Open Letter Group in check by forcing them to raise everything through the DSA.
I was not aware that Nelms suggested that that DFCSS should affiliate to the DSA.
He obviously had not done his homework otherwise he would have discovered that the DSA was previously part of DFCSS until they decided nearly ten years ago to leave.
In my opinion there are not enough Dundee supporters to have two separate supporters groups.
There should be one group which would give them strength in depth especially in these uncertain times with Dens Park now ultimately owed by Dark Blue Property Holdings Limited.
