Rob Staton apologised to us Millers fans before suggesting the Blades could sign the Viking. Comments like that are out of order in my opinion, apology or not

Gru please don’t suggest Ayala coming back into the team he should never play for the team again Odoffin and Morrison will do for me until the cavalry arrive I.e. the January transfer window/McCart I know Barnsley fans aren’t impressed but he’s another body and presumably thinks it’s football and not basketball we play

Staton's a pig fan so I take no notice of him anyway. Him and Giddings, any chance they have to slag us off or pull us down they're straight in.

We are trying to avoid defeat, perhaps not unsurprisingly. But that means we are not giving ourselves much chances of winning.
A lucky goal and usual vik heroics aside, without their wasting glorious chances we wouldn’t have done it. It wasn’t the odd bit of luck today.
And few would say that wasn’t a penalty.
It was all as welcome as the mild weather, but as the weather turned slightly chilly in the end it coincided with the unbalancing right sided sub and bringing probably our worst player, yes, even more than hugebill….appiah and like the weather it made a downturn.
Fortunately boro didn’t notice and turn up the heat down that side.
LR’s subbings seem to follow the taylor playbook. And it nearly cost, bar the wonderful stop by revan which vik may not have got to.
Poor subbings have to stop. Once nombe came off, our outlet stopped.

To be honest he's done very well the last three games and when he went off today that's when Port Vale started getting at us and we just about hung on after leading 3-0 .

McCart is probably on a hiding to nowt over here coming in and replacing Liam Kitching who went to Coventry for £5m .

Huge crowd favourite was Liam and it's not McCart's fault he's not as good as Kitching .

For what it's worth I'd take Ayala off your hands any day of the week , he'd be just what we need , experienced and a level lower at his age would probably be beneficial to him too .

Always thought he was a class act at Boro and Blackburn when he played against us .

On his game he's still got it but, and it's a big but for me, he's got another agenda to fit his lifestyle.

Let's be honest, it was an injustice, but as someone better qualified once said, it's a funny old game. In the second half we rediscovered some self belief. We need to build on that and ruffle some feathers. Barlaser was the most influential player on the pitch but Haks will be snapped up soon by a Premier League club. Tremendous. What's his contract????

I want us to look more solid than today especially on our right struggling to see how there till/if we bring Kioso back.

First game I've seen since the Norwich win and what a nice surprise (the win more so than the performance). Yep, got lucky but not in the slightest balances out the lack of luck and bad decisions against us, so we need maybe 9 or 10 more like this in a row before I can even look you in the eye again God.

Poor first 30 mins. Far too much respect given for a team of very good passes but are where they are as they don't java end product and that showed. We didn't need to be that withdrawn but at same time, the damage to the morale and confidence of the squad must be huge, so I can understand it. Fair play all concerned for switching it up and getting more in and at em. It did need a huge amount of luck but we deserved it much more in the 2nd half.

Great to be there in the family stand with my 11 year old daughter and 7 year old niece, who were both joyfully 'giving out large' to the Boro fans when the final whistle went!

Seeing it on the highlights (it's funny how contentious issues that go against our opposition usually make it into the highlights but ones against us never do?) I'd say the initial contact was outside the box so even if it was a foul it wasn't a penalty.
