They did go from the 7th tier to consolidated status in League 2. Fair to say some of that ownership is less than involved more recently.

Yes, that's because the initial input of cash is more effective. The higher they go more money is needed ( as we painfully know) and that input of cash gets to be more ineffective as costs, wages and other expenses rise.

Okay. That doesn't change my point that it's unfair to suggest they haven't flown up the leagues. Obviously it's relative to where you start. The aim of this group is to get a team developed into a regular Championship team using a L1 or L2 team with a string focus on an academy. CO92 made a small 7th tier club fully professional and they now have average attendance above their prior capacity. Nobody is suggesting turning water into wine.
