Mick Madeira is a must, been a few times with the family - lovely place, clean, safe, good restaurants and the prices are fair.

Not much for me this year, a 4-day cycling trip to the Pyrenees with the lads and I might shoot over to Ireland for a few days to catch up with some family who I've not seen for a good while.

Never been WCV - always thought of Madeira as an upmarket SAGA resort. Is that false?

I like the sound of cycling in the Pyrenees, sadly, though, my fitness is nowhere near good enough nowadays!
