We have lavished far too much praise, way too early on a player who has yet to prove it against the best on the international stage

Hold me up for ridicule if you want but trust me this kid is going to flop this summer
No need, you do it yourself…..

I see Bellingham as a pure 10 nothing else, just sitting and holding the front two so why is he playing so deep? Bet he feels really stifled.
Because they have a bit of a taylor for a manger….if southgate became millers manager he would be clueless. The england players are propping him up. And only just. Playing a bad system, players out of position, and negative.
Long past his sell by date.

Agree they are delusional, they actually stated they thought they played well!!! Rice talking about do anything to protect the manager, against who? The English people that he is privileged to represent. Southgate now saying making no changes was the right decision because we went through. We were awful, negative and very very lucky. They are not being honest with themselves and not being honest with the fans and media and it drives a wedge between the team and the outside world. If they actually believe what they are saying then god help us against a very good Switzerland team

But isn't that how it works? Players stay in the squad based on their soundbite performances rather than based on their playing performances?
