I suspect that the CPS will then defer the decision to the independent bar and probably Treasury Counsel given how ‘politicised’ the case has become.

I feel sorry for the prosecutor, Jury members and judge who will have to deal with this case (assuming that there are charges in the case of the last two). They will all know that whatever they do will criticised by those members of the audience who have already made their decisions and really don’t care about pesky stuff like evidence.
It’s a powder keg and I get it.
Unfortunately there is a perception of two tier policing which I agree happens at times and imo this is the case now.
I also don’t buy into that all Muslims are the same. There is enough evidence of the Muslim community condemning the actions of them if you aren’t blind to it.
Yvette Cooper was so quick to jump in with comments that again looked like she was more bothered about upsetting a demographic rather than issuing a neutral statement.
Like I said powder keg which is gathering pace every day.
Imo stronger action against what is becoming a lawless society is needed whatever race or religion is involved.

MP's should spend a week with the old bill night and day

That might just give em a reality check on what sort of 💩 they have to deal with.

And in the end whenever threats occur who do we call ???

A mate of mine has a son in the police force and is considering leaving because of the mismanagement at the top and says ever since Mayors and Police commissioners were brought in they are no longer a police force but a police service. That is why a lot are leaving because of the wet woke leadership.

Just to catch up , I’ve just watched both videos on the sky news app . The first thing that i notice is that there’s a Warning on the original video that it shows a police officer striking a member of the public . But on the second video there’s no Warning that the video shows police officers been repeatedly attacked from behind . Is that part of being a police officer , that they’re to be use as punchbags ?

The police need to be held to high standards and the behaviour of the officer kicking the head of the prostrate man appears inexcusable. However, if I was representing said officer, I would be seeking medical support which might prove/suggest that as a result of the blows he received to his head from the guy in the light blue shirt, his mental acuity was diminished and his resulting actions were outwith his control and responsibility.
