I got a feeling that Guehis not the one were after.

Maybe its all smoke and mirrors and its Thiaw after all.

Seems strange if its Guehi, and the press knows all about it all the time... and it keeps dragning out. Not very much like us...

Fildeling around over £5mil or something like that. I'm not buying it tbh.

I read it in a remote European Journal which concentrates on the top leagues in the main countries.

Basically it said that he and his agent were up for the move and he was adamant he wasn't going to sign an extension at Palace.

Also said about how much he was affected by the crowd supporting him at SJP during the international there and he was particular buddies with Gordon and a big admirer of Tripps.

As well as the above his agent stated he would be amongst the first on the team sheet here rather than the others.

I wouldnt blame him if he left.. as long as we get a good price.. and it will take a huge offer I think
Mostly agree, think he’ll stay and hope he stays, but there’s a lot of reasons why he might go… and I’d add that the club considering him going earlier in the window to meet PSR has got to be a bit of a kick in the nads.

If he did go (and again I hope he stays because I think he’s right up there) then it could only be for SILLY MONEY, to find a good few deals and we’d have Barnes to start and a replacement coming in with part of the money.

Can’t see it happening this summer mind, think the scousers will hold back and come back in Jan or June, and how that’s received will depend on how well we have done and how big the gap is for PSR.

Boils my P!ss that Man Utd can be over half a billion in debt yet profit and sustainability ignores that, it’s f*CL all to do with sustainability and everything to do with profit.

I hope to fk money here isn't money about to be got from the dippers for Gordon and Bruno. Yeah, hope I'm being unnecessarily paranoid.

Eddie Howe on improving our squad:

“The transfer window is picking up now.
We are hoping to add at least one player to the group. But it has to be about quality rather than quantity.
“If you’re going to add players they have to push the group to new levels. That’s what we are looking for — which is very difficult to find.
There’s not many players that will make us better.

    Hmmm....

Music to my ears, and exactly what I'm thinking.

Totally agree with Eddie on that one. Any signing from now on has to be better and push our squad.

Pure Joy to hear Eddie taking in those lines, love it. I love it!

Apperently Fulham are pushing for the other Palace CB. . . slightly worrying that if they sell him they might put their foot down on losing both CBs.

Sure it'll be fine but a twinge of worry.

Yep, feel uneasy about this whole saga too, Jammy.

The frustration is growing but it's more to do with the situation-I don't doubt for a second that the club are trying everything they can while being throttled by PSR.

Agreed - PSR is a joke.

We're having to worry about getting Guehi whilst Chelsea can buy their 6th player and take their spending to almost £200 million in this window alone.

And Man U should have failed PSR but were given an allowance not given to any other club.
