I have to keep reminding myself it is the first game and a new squad of players, because that was very poor. No high press, in the last minute their keeper walked out 35 yards with the ball!! All i can hear is Evans and Raynor shouting like too sunday morning kids coaches from the 1980s. Hugill is on the floor a lot, JCH doesn't have a second gear, mcCart doesn't look like he is playing to stay, rafferty doesn't look like a promotion winning full back. The two in the centre are battling but there are no footballers, capable of passing the ball and creating anything. Seems our tactics are huffball from Phillips and a goal from a set play. Oh and Bramall needs to realise he isn't playing full-back so he can play higher up the pitch and run at them. Only Hungbo looks capable. i can only assume Evans is giving the players from last year a chance before we put some footballers on the pitch.

They are quicker to the ball, we look unfit and very slow. No passion or desire in those players wearing steward jacket colour kits, it is worse second half

I would have taken them both off but to be fair they didn’t get much service,you can’t play too big c/f with no width.
