Saturday 5th October

With only 15 points up for grabs this was going to be a low to average scoring day. Actually, not one of us hit double digits from our predictions. Let's see how it all turned out.

The Results:

No Shows: Much improved on last week with only Clarkey1974 failing to post again. I think with his continued absence not only from the PL but, generally not posting anywhere on the board for several weeks now, it's fair to remove him from the PL. Should he return I will gladly and promptly reinstate him.

Weekly winner(s): No double digit scores but there were 6 of you who shared the spoils by scoring 9 points, so it's well done to; Avondale Miller, ELK, Harpo88, LolMorgan, Nardendee and Pipppy. You all pick up 5 bonus points.

Predict a score:The final score was West Brom 0 v 0 Millwall and there were actually two winners so, it's a well done to both HK Miller and another scoop of the points for Harpo88. As this was a rollover, they each collect 6 points.

Wooden Spoon(s): Two claimants this time see Harry Bow and Ulley Miller pick up a spoon with their score of 4 points. Hard luck chaps.

Some benefitted well with their bonus points, especially Harpo88, and it created plenty of movement in the table.

HK Miller retains top spot and has opened up a slender lead over now second placed Harpo88.
Ronners, who's had a good season start moves up to claim the 3rd spot. At the foot of the table and with Clarkey being removed, Pipppy did himself a massive favour scoring 14 points to move up while Millerstale now holds the bottom spot.

Here we are with the results from this weekends fixtures on the PL.

No Shows: Full card, well done everyone.

Weekly winner(s): Some decent scores considering we had a mish mash of fixtures to choose from. Five of you hit double digits with both Avondale and Harpo88 with 10 points each. This was followed up by Grist and Ulley scoring 11 points each. One person though shone above all by delivering 13 normal points to steal the weekly win so, it's congratulations to ADVENTUS2012, well done pal.

Predict a score: Barrow who are 6th in the League were playing, at the time of the kick off, bottom of the league Morecambe Town. Well, they threw the form book out of the window and earned themselves a well deserved 0-1 win to lift themselves off the foot of the table.
As a result of this, there were no winners so it's a rollover next weekend.

Wooden Spoon(s): It was a close call this one as CAM delivered 3 points, then YAK and ELK threw in their 2 pointers but, Cayton took pity on them all and posted his tiny 1 point to steal a spoon. Hard luck pal.

Harpo88 kept up his good scoring rate so much, he now sits aloft at the top of table moving HK Miller aside to second place and Bramley and CT Milller share 3rd spot as Ronners slips to fourth. ADVENTUS jumps up from 3rd bottom to a more respectable mid table spot and UlleyMiller also gave himself a welcome boost from 2nd bottom to higher in the table.

Cayton with his winning spoon score now shares the bottom spot with Millerstale.
