Well done all of the lads without exception.

At last we are playing better, if not quite at our best. Plenty more to come from them.

Absolute text book penalty from Gordon.

More of the same please young man!
I thought our set pieces were much better all round. City were agitated at our corners.

How Joelinton's Pen Shout wasn't given is beyond me. Should have been 2-1.

We take the point and move on. I had us down for a hiding today. I would have been happy with a 0-2 loss and a good performance. Delighted with the performance, the draw and the point!
It’s worrying when a ‘top’ referee holds an opinion like that on a stonewall penalty. My only concern that it wasn’t a red card. Did the keeper really challenge for the ball - to me, he just seemed to spread himself as much as possible?

I think they tend to not give a pen + red on a same challenge. So its either red+free kick if its outside of the box or pen + yellow if its in.
At least its what I read a few years ago

I thought it was a yellow if the keeper made sn attempt for the ball and a red if he didn’t (and just tried to bring the attacker dwn)?

If it had been given by the ref I doubt VAR would have overturned it. However it would have been a very soft penalty hence the lack of appeals by our players. If it had been given against us I would have been livid however so I'm not bothered we didn't get it.

That is my understanding of the double jeopardy rule as well

A decent performance by all the lads.
Gordon was my man of the match, followed closely by Lewis Hall.
Tonali is looking real quality and overall a good old togetherness as a team and a hunger to show their qualities.

A big old shout for Nicky boy Pope and a big up for Eddie Howe and his merry backroom men.
