Thread: Hibs away

Doc isn't worthy of considering as I genuinely doubt he'll ever be for enough to command a starting slot. Moult and Dalby sure but we have to have signed Babs for a reason and surely it's to play as a 10 he clearly has ability but we're not getting the best of him

I only included Doc because you said with everyone fit. I agree about Babunski but if we are going to build a team around him then he needs to step up and impose himself more wherever he plays, right now he's not doing enough to command a guaranteed start I'm afraid

Docherty is a write off, you can't build anything round him, strong argument to say he should have been let go in the summer and wages better used. Even accounting for injuries, that was a relegation level performance today.

    Ref was awful.

First half especially went out of his way to give every decision to Hibs

Maybe just as well im not getting to games just now, going by the views of those that are worth listening to!

However, that all ends next weekend and i hope that some of the afflicted are back and we stay on the front foot all game!

Still, it was another point reclaimed in the last minute!

I came away from that happy with the point, we should have had a point on Wednesday minimum and today we make didn't deserve it but Hibs weren't great either, first half was terrible and better second half overall

Think it's clear we are struggling just now with the injuries, getting some of those back will make a big difference to us, especially Graham

Big game next week before the international break, win would be huge

Babunski was poor today - he also missed great chance first half - but his overall movement, ball retention and defensive side was all poor

Strain didn’t look good and JG was right to make the change at HT

I’m quite happy with back 3 but Graham is the better option when he comes back

Up front Dalby was not getting anything for ref when fouled all match. He doesn’t hold ball up that well though. Too many long balls for rest of team with no option to flick on to. Great penalty from Dalby though and he has provided goals

Like others have said we need back the injured players

I though Kai ok and showed some willing when he came on

Miller T might be better option to start with Luca S at right back.

Jack Walton had decent match and probably MOTM

Trap have thought was poor recently except for flashes as a sub - and now he seems injured

I don't think Walton had much to do, thought despite the poor showing we created as much as them really over the piece

Odada had his best performance so far which was encouraging, maybe has something to offer after all, as Babunski/Sevelj is no use as a cm duo, doesn't work at this level

Other positive is had we been in the semi final we wouldn't have been in best of shape for it with the injuries at got after St Mirren away

The really downer is still dropping pts to well midweek, 1-0 defeat at Pittodrie and 1-1 as Easter rd when understrength isn't that bad, a win in Saturday would kind of offset that a put us in a good position for the next run of games

Hopefully by then the two weeks break sees us back closer to full strength

I didn't see that match and the only impression I had was what has been said on here. So I wasn't expecting much from the highlights, Hibs pummeling us with a lucky break at the end. As it turns out we had a pretty even split in the highlights. I'm still struggling to see where there is a penalty for us at the end though so that was lucky and emphasises to me how bad VAR is in this country. I'd be raging if that had been given against us.

Can see in the replays their players have his shirt, one of them for a good while

It's soft but it's a warning to our players too, not to get caught doing that in the box, certainly not for any extended period
