Not sure it?s a lack of a striker of who he played but how he had them playing.

His system is relatively risk free and possession based which works well against team who leave space at the back.

Park the bus and compress the space and the lack of willingness to risk losing possession means we just get stuck in a loop that goes nowhere.

Apart from one good game against Chelski in the FA Cup, what exactly has Joseph done that makes him any more effective than the, equally mediocre, Barndoor?

Unusually today, we lumped many crosses (of varying quality) into the box which only appeared to provide heading practice for their centre backs. Another mountain of corners with no threat.

Need for a different type of striker is clear ( hopefully ) How many corners did we have today, all resulted in same ending, Require a CF who can head a ball, ideally goalwards. Piroe doing ok, Joseph young yes, learning yes, but too much hype, Bamford he tries. Farke has to recruit in Jan, if he thinks 3 strikers is ok, then one out of Bamford / Joseph has to make way, for AN Other. Think Joseph could benefit from loan move.
