I still didn't find it a particularly entertaining game overall and as I said on the matchthread, if you thought it was then it shows just how low the bar has been set.

I just don't really feel any connection to this team at the moment and feel almost like a neutral when watching my own team. I think when you watch it dispassionately you see it for what it is, and this is a dreadful league full of poor teams playing awful football, and we're one of them. I don't think we'll go down, I just think we'll be consistently inconsistent for the rest of the season, a mix of decent wins and dire defeats and overall it'll be a season to forgot.
    I completely agree. It?s awful!

I'm taking it at face value. Let's face it, it's been grim this season with little to get excited about.

That was a top day out - for once, not spoiled by the match. Shame the following was so poor (we usually sell out at Lincoln) but the backing was superb all game. Well done to all who made the effort, both in turning up and then getting behind the team.

Mom Humphreys by a country mile. He should be doing that week in week out in this league. Maybe we'll see more of it if he's played in midfield more.

Credit also to McWilliams. I've been a harsh critic but today he was mobile, looked interested, and part of a team.

The work down the flanks and the service into the box was much better today. I have to say I agree with NWC, JCH would probably have scored today. He's much more of a natural goal poacher than Nombe. It's probably unfair to judge him until he gets some decent service.

Lincoln were poor. This league is poor. But we've won away..... and deservedly so. Enjoy the moment, it feels good for a change.

Didn't see it so can't judge. Do you think CAM can do this long term, cos we are absolutely crying for a decent CDM.

A decent CDM will allow JP to play further up Frecks style where I've got no doubt he'd be a right handful.

Tiehi and Kelly are utter garbage and not the answer

I've been a critic of Humphreys as a league one centre back for the simple reason he doesn't like and isn't good at heading the ball. That's not to say he's a bad footballer. He's actually quite a good footballer. And today he played to his strengths. I've been critical of Phillips but today apart from a bit of weird kicking he played well. Plaudits for Wilkes. He made our goal with two determined challenges against the odds. Take a look. Good effort Malik

At last a result that's kind of United this board. We were the best of two struggling teams, which for once was made evident by the score.
More movement and skill than we've seen for a long time. Still a lot to do to get to a reasonable league position.

As for your comment about the regulars why can?t you just praise a result instead of having a dig.
    How old are you 10?
    Because he is.
And lets be accurate, we don?t really know the gender of any member. Boring though, i?ll give you.

Another in agreement. What I saw of it was dire stuff. We are so starved of anything decent, the post was spot on.

2 poor teams on show today. Lincoln were a lot worse than us, but at least we seemed to play a bit better than our normal crap.

Yes, we won but it should have been out of their reach before we eventually scored. We still look nervy defending, or is it me what a bag of nerves by watching us for over 60yrs?
I still think that a half decent passing team would have made mincemeat out of us both today.......

If Hungbo has gone back, then why before we've got someone else in before the next match. we've weakened the squad now.
