3pts job done, all that matters after tough Xmas with injuries. Hopefully a full week to recuperate
12 points out of 15 since Salford; a fantastic return.
A generally dominant performance in all areas of the pitch. Not at our fluent best, but more than enough to hold Swindon off.
Lots to be encouraged by. Very, very pleasing.

Both Ness and Macari waiting on scan results. I wonder if we will dip into the market for a short term cover?
Job done indeed? plenty of players getting minutes and many hitting some decent form. I thought Matty Platt was outstanding in defence, bar one moment in the first half. Utterly dominant defensive display from him.
After an iffy first half I thought Abbott was the better of the 3 central midfielders. Both wing backs worked hard but I thought Austin was had one of his best games for Notts, the block in the first half showed what he?s about and created countless opportunities.
DMG had the freedom of ML and looked sharp. Should have had a hatful.
Lovely result. Just shy of the auto spots with our current form enough to get in there and stay in there. Fingers crossed we can keep this up.
Based on the Brothers' last message they aren't feeling desperate to make any signings and might not if the right deals aren't available. Hopefully we have some luck.
Still, a few more nasty injuries could sink it all again. Stupid game!
Although it cannot be deemed an objective truth yet, because the league table is based on figures and the summation of figures which are objective truths, I would postulate that should we beat everyone else, as stated in the post, losing to Walsall probably would not matter as we would amass another 66 points, giving us 106 points in total.
In essence, we will not know if it is true or not until the end of the season.
