Thread: Richard Montague

This seems far too obscure a rumour for there not to be something to it. This isn't the sort of thing that someone just invents. I guess we'll find out soon enough.

Notts's methods/style of play/the spectacular nature of our promotion has drawn a lot of attention to our players and coaches over the past 2 or 3 years. It wouldn't be a huge surprise to see that extended to our executives too.

The good news is that Notts would only be losing the man (as good as he's mostly been) but not the methods. We've also lost a good number of players and coaches to teams in higher divisions over the last three years (along with sadly losing our previous CEO) and have managed to replace virtually all of them almost seamlessly.

I am not concerned about that flimsy looking piece of gossip and i don't know the exact relationship between Football Radar and Montague or how integral Montague is to the whole operation. All I do know is that relationship works and if it splits up it will be to the clubs detriment. Long may it continue

One thing we should have learnt by now is the brothers seem to be able to replace the irreplaceable .

Exactly. The only irreplaceable component of our success is the bros themselves.

True but what we do not know is how much influence our Head of Football Analysis has in the brothers replacing the seemingly irreplaceable. That was my point to me that is the unknown.

I can?t imagine if he leaves it strengthens us why would it?

Where does he say it's Montague? Also, as he sits on our board, there would be a considerable amount of gardening leave to consider so why was Montague signing Traore just weeks before he jumps ship? Unlikely I would say.

Also, wrong link, I think you meant to link Luke Williams press conference

Most senior positions have a minimum of a 12 week notice period. That's without being in a position knowing a lot of sensitive business knowledge as Montague would
