Brilliant that we got the winner at the end though. We are getting better now the new players are beginning to settle in.
The referee was awful, really poor
Killie killed the game with their non footballing tactics.

Shyte game, but three points in the bag which is the important part.

F*ck killie and f* ck McInnes.

Dabbagh and Morris made the difference
Thought our new CF put himself about, showed some quality touches and finish was instinctive. He also has a burst of pace - I think he will do well for us
Shady Mo also provided a threat down the right which we were missing
    Keskinnen better on the left

Oh and Nisbet should have scored when he hit the post

Thought Nisbet had a decent game. The best of our starting attacking players.

    Morris is a strange one.
Does ok in his cameos, but not deemed good enough to start.
Thought he did well when he came on

Thought Gueye struggled big time today. I don't think he is fit.

Nilsen was pretty good today, nice to see since he's had plenty criticism lately. A bit gutted for Okkels nae getting that goal, feel that would have got him to kick on. Pape was definitely off it, fitness or not we looked better when he came aff.

Noticed the gameplan changed when Dabbagh came on - whether it was due to him or just because the manager/players figured out they needed to try something new, but the centre-backs pushed forward and played the ball over the top. Caused them several problems in the later part of the game and obviously we got the reward eventually.

Has Shinnie ever played left-back for us before? I mean, when he signed I thought he was a left-back, but we all know how that turned out. Weird, but he had a good cameo.

Clarkson remains the most frustrating player in recent history: you just feel he has the ability to command games, but it seldom happens. He did have some nice plays today.

Very early days but this Knoesters looks quality, in an attacking sense as well as defensive. That wee chip he played into the box was lovely, and not your typical centre-back stuff. In general, delighted for the defence to get a clean sheet.

Proviso, it is only Killie at home - but I suffered through that last game where they absolutely demolished us, so I'm counting this as a significant step forward.

Shinnie was a very good left back when he first joined us. Then he pushed into midfield and has been his position since, even at Derby.

A good option to have at LB if Mackenzie is out for a spell.

Can never really understand the hate towards Shinnie from some of our supporters.

It seems to come from guys in their late 50s early 60s on Facebook and the hat who are obsessed with going on about him being finished.

He was poor in the winless run but so was the rest of the squad. To me hes getting to the age where he cant play week in week out but he still has a lot to offer for the next year or so.

Far from at our best again, but dug out the 3 points again too, so huge credit to all for that.

Good habit to have, lets build on it - albeit it Tims up next.

Defence solid again, good to have Mitov back. Jensen again showed the value of his versatility and I thought Shinnie did well at LB - solid defensively and offered a lot going forward. Should seriously consider using him there more often just now.

Thought Nisbet was good again overall - albeit should have scored the one off the post - good movement to offer options, linked the play very well & did everything you would want in that regard. Much better.

Liked the look of Dabbagh too. Quick, direct, good technique, had a few lovely touches, & a goal. Cant ask much more - well done loon.

On the down side, big Pape was well off it today & we are still not getting enough from the wide men for me (though Shady Mo was decent when he came on) & I didnt think we got a grip of the middle of the park as well as we should, but it was an important win - especially with some of the other results elsewhere - so hopefully the confidence continues to build & we can keep racking up the wins.

Always feel it's folk who don't go to games who are most like this about Shinnie.
Our wider support need a local loon to pick on and Shinnie fits the bill along with MacKenzie.

We know both Shinnie and Nilsen needed to be used wisely due to their age and their experience will be needed for the final run in, as we are far from the finished article.

I thought Clarkson did well when he come on too and shows the benefit of competition.

Still don't think we are getting enough from either Okkels or Topi out wide.

Topi looks much better on the left, but Jimmy clearly rates Okkels on that side.

We looked much stronger with Mitov in goal yesterday too. Just commands his goal with a bit more authority than Doohan does.

Disappointing to see both MacKenzie and Devlin go off injured, but at least we have got a bit of cover in that areas.

Yeah it does seem to come from guys who don’t even go to Pittodrie.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion but to go on about it on a daily basis repeatedly saying he is finished is bordering on obsession.

As for yesterday I thought we were a lot more solid at the back. The whole defence was good but I was particularly impressed with Knoester, he looks like he is going to be a great signing.

I thought the whole team done well but like I said yesterday the referee prevented any sort of decent play from us by constantly giving fouls to Kilmarnock and breaking up our attacks.

The bars not high with Scottish referees but the guy yesterday was the worst ive seen this season.
