That eye must have been on the blink with the other one, the day at wembley, when wiles scored his worldie.
The supplier? JJ.
Took the ball down, one knee then to the other knee then pass to wiles in one swift movement. With defenders on him.
Obviously evans has not seen it either.
Judging by the play yesterday JJ should have been on a lot sooner, if he is up to speed. (Mind you, with our puff and panters, he wouldn’t have to match much)
To suggest harris is back to old self, clearly evans doesn’t demand much of a std.
Watching the game, I have to agree with many. Edging snail pace to safety, but we must not be sided tracked by the odd bit of relief.
And what needs to be done in terms of moving forward.
One interesting point is why does our manager dress up for away games, looking smart, yet trot out in tatty training gear at home?
Sloppy.
We were slow and lethargic yesterday. It wasn?t a great match for either team. Yet 5 goals on the board it could be viewed in another way superficially.
The ball was like a hot potato, neither team wanted it. One team well in the dog fight, one desperately trying to stave off being involved.
When their defender got a nose bleed, off comes the shirt (with dried blood, in the regs), yet he is allowed to play on with nose still needing padding, and clearly with fresh blood on it.
Young refs these days. Clueless.
And another thing. Why is it a defender is allowed to hold on to wilkes quite effectively slowing him down, whilst he gets a weak shot off, as a result of. In the area, and I don?t care how bland this holding was, it was highly effective and no one can get a proper shot in.
The refereeing std is now becoming a joke. Games are just turning into pub games. It?s led by teams, but is allowed to be accepted as the norm by referees.
The last two home games, and this especially.

I disagree totally about our keeper being poor, in fact I think he's come on in leaps and bounds this season. Both keepers had dodgy starts to the season, but Phillips has definitely turned out the best of the 2, he sweeps up well from balls over the top and is always shouting to players and throwing the ball out when he can, instead of just kicking long all the time. I wouldn't blame him for either of their goals yesterday, the first one he had to engage their player after he was played in behind, and the 2nd goal, Phillips had every right to shout at the defence when their player gets a free header in a crowded penalty area. No he isn't a Viking, but he's still a decent keeper, for me he is anyway. UTM
Runners for their second goal look at the no 11 I think it was who crossed it he was in acres of space and touched the ball 4 times when crossing it not the keepers fault at all no closing down
I agree he's the best of the two we have which has surprised me a bit because Dawson came with good references from Wednesday and I expected him to be first choice.
However, overall I would say Phillips is just a bog standard League 1 goalkeeper, no better, no worse than most of what we see in this division.
To be honest I think the bigger problem lies with what's in front of him and how our defenders let opponents waltz past them or pump crosses into the box with out being closed down.
Lots of work for our dynamic management duo to do. Hmm.
