It was a bit like that in the 80s.
Go to Parkhead, play well and get a result only for the Sportscene highlights to suggest that we were fortunate and Archie MacPherson banging on about Celtics play.

I forgot to mention my real highlight of yesterdays game and nothing to do with the goal.

My loon bought me a pie!

Didn't know whether to eat it or frame it, but went with the former.

He also took me for a pint in the Butchers Arms after the game too!

Never been in that bar - what like is it and is the beer/food decent? I see it has a beer garden so I really must try it when the weather improves and I?m back from working away, hopefully around Cup Final time when the open-top bus parade is on. Does your son buy everyone pints!?

Just watched Sportscene, thought you guys were maybe exaggerating but no - utterly ridiculous highlights, especially of the first half. Just bizarre.

Anyway some great performances again, Knoester & Dorrington just so far in advance of any defenders we’ve had for years. Clarkson again just a joy to watch. Topi looking so dangerous on the left. Dante again looking good when he came on. And fair play to McGrath.

Hopefully JT sees how the team finishing is stronger than what we’re starting with. I’m not sure we can play Morris/Topi/Gueye at the same time. Morris still a sub for me. Gueye scored the previous two games and it was his flick on that saw the red card in the SF but he is a luxury. Not one we can afford when Morris is on the pitch as well IMO.

I do like Palaversa but don’t know if it’s stamina or concentration but he does seem to fade and get a bit slack at times.

I’m quibbling though, that was really enjoyable. Felt we actually started the game on the front foot.

    And that goal, well…

What was all the fighting amongst the Hibs ultras about? Right rammy at the end.

I heard they weren't happy with Love Will Tear Us Apart being played/sang.

All hard loons with their faces hidden. Fannies.

Just caught the highlights too and nice of Hibs in house TV to edit the highlights for the beeb.

More possession, more shots, shots on target and corners, all stars shown on screen after the highlights tio showed who the better team were.

Fair play to David Gray, he made no excuses in his post match interview.

Peter Grant really doesn't like us. Feelings mutual.

Hadn't changed too much since I was last in around 1997.

You can get a pint of McEwans, always a bonus nowadays.
They have more modern day hipster shyte and cockails on tap, which was a new one on me.

Food? I had a bag of plain crisps and then loon had Scampi Fries. Of course he asked for them when my round.
Maybe they do food in the lounge, but couldn't see anything up that suggested they did food.

I knew they had a beer garden, but wasn't out in it. Never been a lover of Al fresco dining/drinking.

I would never hold my breath waiting for my loon to stand his hand. Usually 'forgets' his wallet and will send me the money later, which of course you never see.

Nae being funny but every time he’s on I’ve wondered if Grant is ok health wise. Doesn’t seem to know what’s going on. The blank staring ahead and weird emotionless or strange responses. Comes across as being completely out of touch.
May just be an arsehole with no interest beyond Celtic right enough.

Like the media in general. Highlights even called Polvara Palaversa twice. I know their names are similar but one came on for the other FFS.
