Fantastic start, 3 points on the board, plenty of positives. Just stop Stach taking free kicks etc, get him in the box, where he can do damage.

Great performance & we absolutely dominated that first half without being able to make a breakthrough but kept at it till the end & got the result, end of, via a well drilled disciplined performance that showed we have 'belief' !👏
Yes Totty solid 1st match performance, our new signings prove you don’t have to spend ridiculous amounts. Harrison did well when he came on… next Arsenal away, thats going to be a test but it’s the teams likely around us who will define our season….glowing in pic, when is the big Day

We looked good. The first half we would have played with anyone in the league

WHU, Brentford, Wolves, Burley and Everton are all teams we can nick some points off of.

It will likely be tight this season but like our squad better than the above

It was a match of 2 half's as we dominated the first but nothing coming close to scoring likewise for them second half.
Also found out what I was saying Longstaff Rama not in his love life. Still think his an idiot and will take us down.

8 of the players that started last night were were with us in the championship, none looked out of place, just need a couple of goal scorers.

Thought the new signings looked decent last night.

Definitely improved the quality and physicality of the squad.

Nmecha took his pen well and also looks a handful for defenders.

Agree WS, gonna need a full squad to continue that kinda momentum but gotta few to chop & change tactical style if required too.
Just kinda wish we recruit a finisher up front who is comfortable on the close-ball situation in the box as the two presently dont appear to have that quick strike response in tight situations, imo.
Oh, September time is anticipated 'arrival' date. 🤞

Surprised that noone has brought up the fact that we started with 8 of 10 outfield players from last season. Gudmonson took Firpo's left back as Junior left. Stach replaced Aaronson as we moved into 4-3-3 formation. It shows our lads from last season in Championship have the quality to stay with the likes of Everton. Gudmondsson was excellent, Stach was excellent. Gnonto was skilful but couldn't find the last pass or the finish. Same with Tanaka. Piroe was good too. If it wasn't for Pickford, piroe would have scored.
