My brother had to fill out an application form when he applied for a summer holiday job in 1978 before he went to Edinburgh University to study law.
Included in the questions in his application form was.
What schools did you previously attend.
What religion are you.

It was definitely anti catholic in the late 60s early 70s you must’ve been very lucky to an interview back then Returnofrros

1983, was never getting a job, think I was there to fill a bit of time for the loon.

At that time I went for many interviews at places where you just knew it was a process job or jobs were already "allocated".....Tayside contracts, NHS, fire brigade, council.

Unemployment was probably at its peak years so jobs precious.

How times change though.

If you are a catholic, independence supporting black transgender with a disability.......deffo job now. 😀
