Nah I disagree.
I’d say Watkins is more a stereotypical McInnes signing.
Someone who did reasonably well up here, he showed interest in him when here, he goes south for more cash, then maybe heads back after a few years away.

Richardson tends to churn out the ones we’ve never heard of.
O’Connor, Taylor types.

I thought he was more of an attacking midfielder than a striker.

He done ok at Barnsley,10 goals in 45 games,but struggled at Norwich last season.

I reckon he would be a decent signing for us although I have been wrong many times before.

Both played forward for ICT, both went down south(Storey didn’t) so more Rooney than Storey for me.
There no denying Rooney has become a bit part player.
As great as he was for us, there’s a bit of a Reynolds about him now. I think he is effectively back-up.
Why not fill a midfield role and have someone as an option that can be back up up front.
Versatility is the key.
That said, I read he has a number of clubs who wanted him before he went to Norwich.

I feel the need to question you as you spout garbage in almost everyone of your posts. I’m surprised you haven’t taken the positives in that.
