Actually baffled that Reuben has not gone to be honest. He's been one of the standouts in the National League. I know we've had bids. So I wonder how much Notts deem acceptable to let him go.

I'm a little surprised too. He was consistently good and influential all season and backed it up with goals and assists all season.

Very pleased and relieved he's starting the season with us in NL, as he's clearly should be playing at a higher level.

I’m not sure they will actually have got that much money for McAtee. He was out of contract in a year anyway and Luton have loaned him back for the season while paying his wages.

Hopefully Ruben is happy here at the club, is settled in Nottingham and quite happy with what is in his pay packet.
As was said on the much maligned Magpie Circle, Notts are not a selling club, as they chose to hold onto Wootton in the hope he would help us to promotion, rather than cashing in on him financially 🤞

It would be promotion suicide to sell Ruben after already cashing in on Cal. Surely the gamble of losing Ruben at the end on the season for free and getting promoted is far greater than staying in the NL for the foreseeable.
