Instead of making silly assumptions based on what he looks like, use that thing you're logged on with to find out a bit more. Every bit an athlete, and offers a lot more than much of 2023/24's squad.
    Exactly 👏👏

So is your beef with the manager , the recruitment , the club or the fans?
It’s difficult to understand which one it is.
Your opinion is as valid as the next person just not sure who you are pointing the finger at.

we have signed a lot of players and not all of them will work out, we have a handful of players from last season that are capable at L1 level and we can expect a couple more to move on. The positives is we have a 75% of our final squad in place before the end of June!!!! this means that we have the time in pre-season to get fitness levels high, to work on formations and tactics, to get them used to each other, this is unheard of. The board and management deserve a lot of credit for getting us ready to start pre-season in this position, add to that we are making money on players that leave and not paying silly transfer fees for those that have come. We are not finished yet, we need Ollie and odoffin to sign the new deals that will be put on the table, we need some youth and pace and a bit of cover via a few loans.

I wasn't on here, but I was hugely optimistic when I saw the sorts of players we had coming in - and after the first few games I still thought we'd be okay. By late September/early October though, once we'd lost our back line, it was obvious we needed a huge mentality change, and we didn't have the people to do it.

Perfect storm stuff really, and I wouldn't single out any one person to blame. There were some who clearly weren't right for the next stages of the season, but failings were all over the club to go with awful officiating and really bad luck with injuries (the real ones).

Keepers still age and lose speed of reaction just like outfield players lose speed ,stamina etc .
Not one rule for outfield and one for Keepers.

I'll put a spreadsheet together and take ownership of this. All I know is that we've signed a 34 year old and sold a 25 year old.

I don't know where, as a club, we go from here.

Relegation and literally a thousand injuries, that's where.

That`s 10 players before the end of June....TEN.
Even for Evo that is going some, but we need that amount, and probably 2 or 3 more, even if nobody leaves,so keep going Stevie !
As regards Dawson,I seem to remember big things were expected of him over at S6 when he broke into the team, and it never really transpired like that, and therefore he`s never really been first choice,I think he`ll be OK for us,but obviously not another Vik.
