Yep one bad season out of ten, previously got a small club into L1 and kept them there, this season they were relegated. Following 3 seasons probably averaged 3rd to 4th, he’s not the messiah but it doesn’t take a brain surgeon to work out there was probably a lot going on behind the scenes player/owner wise that caused him to have his worse season by some distance, as Laddo says, it’s long gone now.

Sums up my thoughts exactly. Unfortunately on here if you don't worship the 'modern' tippy-tappy style, you are classed as an old dinosaur who wants to watch hoofball by some. There is a middle ground, and if we don't find it I think we will be stuck down here for a very long time.

I see what you are getting at but couldn't the majority of our past managers approaches be described as being in the 'middle ground'?

Plus we don't really do 'middle ground' on NCM where the currency is far more extreme than that lol#viva
