Listen riled sirus, we gifted you a chance with our self inflicted meltdown to be the Premier team in the city (you were never going to take it yourself by bettering us as we were pre Feb 2015 let's face it), with us out the league

You have failed spectacularly, not capable of being a proud representative of the city that brings some pride via performance etc, you've been an embarrassment, results home and away, absolutely shocking, with the odd token win here and there, no cup runs, terrible crowds home and away, no big game feel when you play any of the bigger sides like there is when they play us

The quicker we are back up and the city has it's bigger and better club representing it, the better all round, the city can get some big games back as well, especially when we face Sevco and the Sheep and fans of the bigger clubs can look forward to a visit from a club with some stature, and recent proven history of being a top club in the country with a good fan base

Clearly he didn’t read my post properly where it clear as day doesn’t say in any way that we are going to go up and do this, that and the other. But what it does show is that the man with the username alluding to hating United is consumed by the thought that they might. It doesn’t take much to bring on the ‘rage’.

This is not the time to go about kicking our city cousins when they are down.......'well almost down.' Yes, we can be smug that we have not only qualifed for the play-offs, but also for the semi-final. By contrast it seems our pals are struggling hard to qualify for the same play-offs? A bit of effort and they can better us by getting to the final itself. As things stand a status quo/replacement derby could yet happen.

We all know what the Taints is suffering right now. We are looking up, whether that is wise or not remains to be seen. Please, no reminders of the cups of 1910 or 1973, Taints is looking into and empty glass.

Talking of 1973, here is a reminder of the end of an era for one team, which also marked the beginning of a new one for another team.
We should all rejoice in this. Maybe we can put a little smile back on Taints' face?
