Will Gareth finally take aff the shackles today and set the nation alight?,i think so.To get a team who finished 3rd in their group in the quarter final is to say the least very fortunate.
This will be the only game that England play on a neutral ground in the Euro's and every pundit i have seen or heard has them very comfortably in the semi's back at Wembley.

Well better qualified more intelligent people than i am have told me all my life that we should be grateful to the English for everything they have done for us over the centuries and of course allowing us to join the equal union.

So far Ukraine have offered little, their only real chance came from an English defensive mistake by Walker.

You can clearly see that a tournament at home up to today is a big advantage,England at times have ran the legs off the Ukrainian's who's 5 at the back was an open invitation to be put under massive pressure and they were.
An injury has changed the game a little with Ukraine losing a defender and going 4-3-3 and looking a different team when going forward.I still think England are playing a Semi and probably a Final at Wembley next week.

I'm clinging onto this stat that was on the BBC website or as some on here know as EBC 😉. When England have scored first in the knock out stages of the euros in the first 4 minutes they've never won . Drew 2 and lost 3 . The 2 they drew lost on pens.🙂

Fair play to them i was certain they would win but they have blown the Ukraine away,it really did not matter whether it was either of Ukraine or Sweden i fully anticipated their only neutral ground game would be their easiest of the tournament so far.

The Ukrainian route to the quarter final.

    Amsterdam Bucharest Bucharest Glasgow Rome.

The English route to the quarter final.

    London London London London Rome.

The best team by far have won this game but you really need to ask UEFA how they consider this a neutral tournament on a level playing field.
