    Supporters are not customers.
It’s also great spending other peoples money.

Some valid questions raised in the OP, though.

What’s interesting is the talk of stagnation when we have clearly progressed based solely on league position (from 14th to 6th).

The problem is what we’re witnessing: lack of entertaining football on the pitch under SM and selling our prime assets at the expense of the team. That does send out a negative message to supporters: we are prioritising finances over promotion. That’s understandable, obviously, but the owners should perhaps clarify how they see us progressing if they are to maintain the same philosophy of having a “competitive budget” despite us presumably being the best supported club in the division next season.

Thats a fair point. However if theyre going to do things *sustainably* (to some) or *on the cheap* (to others) its even more important that they get recruitment, both on and off the pitch, right.

The head coach being most important of all.

Not have never beens. Basically, Bros have funded an expensive **** show. It's not good enough. If owners have a brand, that's fine. But get your cheque book out and pay for players that can deliver now. No projects. Customers move on from products they don't like. Or, get a manager that is able to shape a a squad. Wrexham were our peers. Now it's probably more like Newport.
Classic toys out the pram, the fact you?ve mentioned wrexham clearly shows this.

If you ever thought they were our ?peers? with the way they were operating, thats on you. Could always go and watch them seen as you are a ?customer? not a supporter?

The fault in our clubs' struggle is 50% a crap manager and 50% a small squad containing unfit players.

For anyone wanting to defend Maynard, Ardley had a 30.5% loss rate for his time in charge, that included the last part of the relegation season

Maynard is at a 41.4% loss rate...

And before anyone argues the time, Ardley had 108 games, Maynard has had 70...
