The best team by far have won this game but you really need to ask UEFA how they consider this a neutral tournament on a level playing field.
Our only hope is the Italian's .

I would say Denmark will give them a game at Wembley but Italy are as you say an Alp to climb. The comfort England will have is the Italians have had a much tougher route to the final. The hardest game England have had was Scotland at home and that is FACT.

This is back to back tournaments where they’ve been given dream draws. Let’s face it in a semi final you’re expecting to play a France or Argentina or Italy or Brazil or even the Dutch. This lot? Croatia and Denmark. Phucking hell.

I was in the Ukraine in 2006 with my late father and my 7 year old son during this incident linked below.

    https://www.irishtimes.com/sport/soc...aine-1.1189930

We had all ran from the square but unfortunately my father fell and dislocated his shoulder and was lying in agony in that square.I had to abandon my son and run back into the carnage and hundreds of Neo Nazis to help him.I honestly feared for my life that night and for the safety of my father and son.

My father was treated in a shytehole of a hospital and they plastered his shoulder and arm and set his shoulder back in place with him almost upside down over a chair with no pain relief,it was totally primitive healthcare to say the least. The doctor was very apologetic when he informed me that i would have to pay for treatment carried out but it was no more than a tenner.

If my father was still alive tonight he would still be routing for Ukraine just as me and my son were and after our experience in Ukraine you maybe wondering why.Its all down to the English media and the many years that 1966 still gets brought up.
It was worse for my father and his generation as 66 was rammed doon their throats for years and years and he FN hated it,his only relief in that time was watching Baxter playing keepie up at Wembley as Scotland ran rings round them in 67.
This is the problem with letting the English clean your nose and wipe your erse you have to accept their TV and media and the sooner Scotland grows a pair the FN better,FACT.
Just to add the EBC news has now been on for this whole post i have the volume muted but for nearly 10 minutes you would think the pandemic was just a dream as its all about the English football team an F all the other nations who pay a licence fee just FN suck it up.
Never ever again in my life will the EBC get an FN farthing fae me,seven years and counting,FACT.

All four semi finalists played ALL their group games at home with no travelling. Go figure.

If there was someway to get an independence referendum for around 10.00 pm on the 11th July there's a good chance your wish would come true.

Although i have not spoke to my son since Friday i was correct with my assumption he was backing the Ukraine tonight as i have just been shown a Facebook post of his with him wearing a Ukrainian football top and hat from that very year,i had totally forgotten about it.Actually Affshore when you read this i would very much appreciate it if you could post his photie from there.

Love it or hate it England have grown into this tournament and have a very good manager in Southgate, he is very level headed and comes across as a decent bloke.
I think the tournament being spread round the nations is crazy, it has thrown up advantages for some, I think Denmark also played their group games at home as well as Spain and Italy, even Scotland had 2 at hampden and 1 at Wembley which often feels like a home game, with one host country only the host nation gets an advantage which helped France in 98 and England in 66, possibly others too.
I think a lot of non English UK residents would be happy with coverage for the whole tournament like what was done for England v Scotland and Scotland v Croatia with an option of either the English studio with token attendees from other nations or a scottish/Welsh/ northern Irish version, it worked well in my opinion, it's probably cost that stops it for every game.
I agree the coverage we see in Scotland is English dominated which spoils it for many but England are looking good and they might, I say might just win this tournament.
