Where's thon Moose bloke. They could do with a cult figure right now.

Maybe that numpty that sang about us going 'down, down' could make an appearance at HT to serenade the derry with a wee requiem or something.

    Buckets on stand-by.

That is very true but are the boys taking the Doon hat's,scarves and specs to Fir Park tomorrow just in case?.A golden opportunity lost,Thompson handed you the initiative to bring back the glory days to Dens and reassert your position as the city's top club for the first time in over thirty years.
To say the Dees have failed to grasp the opportunity is an understatement, not one decent cup run or top 6 place in the league secured during our long absence. It comes across to me as DFC are a club that thrives on being a nonentity and when greatness is put in its path it cannie handle it.
The exact opposite can be said of the wee team down the road,we paid full price for our stand's won 5 trophies and put giants like Barca,PSV,Rapid Vienna,AS Monaco,Standard Liege,Anderlecht etc etc to the sword during your spell in the wilderness,FACT.

Indeed it is, and with the lingering pain those blue nosed kunts are experiencing right now, they will be giving him all sorts of Arab pelters. This will only prove to harden Jim’s resolve with his deep, deep love of United. He will be adored by Arabs all over the world for eternity, and in the not too distant future there will be songs sung in the Hampden sunshine to testify to this wonderful occasion.

Really dont know why, but i want them to win next week to prolong their hope that wee bit longer. Then again, 9 defeats in a row becoming 10 would be a hell of an achievement to go with becoming Doondee.

It’s not becoming, it’s a phukkin record! they’ve got the worst record ever in the Premier division. It’s a thing of beauty sent by the gods. I am officially happy as phukk tonight and might even give a beggar a tenner tonight, makes his night too no doubt.

The fun have been a shyte yoyo club for decades and finishing below those clubs is the norm for them, and looking at crowds are getting closer to those clubs by the year (while in the top flight!!)

The city will cope just fine if there is a season with no side in the top flight, it was OK in 1995/96 and I'm sure it was in late 30's and 40's
you seriously need to stop thinking Dundee United are special, you're not a child anymore, I think. Pretty much every one of your posts is based on a little clotted version of history you've developed to make your world bearable. No fizzy pop wins in 90 years, this season failed again, yet there is still a chance of promotion. DUFC haven't won the right to be amongst the big boys since 1928, 91 years ago, in terms of being the best fizzer team. What is wrong with you, you are not beating any of two form Premiership teams who have proven they are fit to stay in the big league. If United are as big as you claim, just win the league ffs stop embarrassing yourself

    Eddie Thomson celebrate.
    What's going on.
    It's 10 man Motherwell - they've scored 4-3.
oh and St Mirren and Hamilton have scored late too.
Football can be beautiful at times.
So the Dee need to win their last three
    and that's not gonna happen.
