PW says
"Wow, that is amazing," he told Derbyshire Live. "I take full credit for signing Cameron Humphreys and he is an amazing centre-back.
"But I don't know if you noticed, I have quite a lot of centre-backs and I haven't got £1.5m.
That is typical Warne, takes full credit for success but not for failure, previously stating that transfers at Rotherham were a committee decision and not just him.
This is another example of why the PW rose tinted view annoys me and some others on here, since he knew he was leaving for Derby his behaviour and attititude to Rotherham has been far from good. The sooner he gets the sack and is out of work the better, can't stand the man a total hypocrit. Yes i know that is nasty, yes it sounds bitter but I am happy with that.
Sunderland showing a strong interest in Jay Stansfield
Think he’d be with us by now if it was going to happen
You didn't quote the best bit where he said something along the lines of if he signed Humphreys he'd sack himself!
Given that Brighton are after Eiran Cashin from Derby (a centre back) I thought the report was entirely plausible. Humphreys would easily replace Cashin and if he was to leave Derby they would have the money because Cashin is a young lad and would command a decent fee. So these are slightly bizarre comments from PW because what he's saying there isn't entirely true (in my view).
Regardless, he's adamant they aren't in for him so good news for us.
Not sure how anyone could take offence to what he said,he couldn't make it any plainer that its bollards.
Dealt with by usual sense of humour ,obviously some of our fans have had a sense of humour bypass.
Barnsley rumoured to be considering making a move for Exeter striker Sam Noombe
Charlton were heavily linked and were allegedly offering close to £1m
He might not be one of the players we’re after though and perhaps MT doesn’t think he could step up.
Pure speculation on my part
