Personally I think that his position at Notts would be untenable if the Swansea move breaks down. That's not just an emotional thing, it's simply that we would be on notice that he's not devoted to the cause and would be off the first chance he got.

Wouldn't you just laugh your head off if it fell through because of compensation!
NOT!
He's got to go now.

There is no way he can come back now, doesn't matter what his reasons are for this potential move, trust has been damaged. There will always be the thought of when will the next "Big club. My family" position appear for him to go for?
Not sure why people keep saying his position is "untenable" if a move falls through, how he hasnt said a single negative word.
In the summer Nemane was talking to other clubs as a free agent but still signed up here.
Also he will only want to leave when a job comes up is fine by me as it will mean he is doing a good job.....I mean nobody wanted to take Fullarton off our hands did they ??!!
Not sure why it's an issue for fans on a message board to name potential candidates, they will all have their merits and faults, that's why they are discussed on platforms such as this. Yes, we could all just say nothing and wait for an official announcement, but where's the fun in that?
It would be really difficult though. Other clubs would know that he's willing to at least consider leaving Notts.
Don't think the Nemane situation can be compared - his contract had come to an end, and one player can't be seen the same as the head coach.
I just wish we could hear one way or the other. At least we don't have a game tomorrow.
