Terrible game to watch and while we are at it they need to stop calling it the Champions League.

Michael Marra (a fan of TMSTID) once mentioned that he'd been given a ticket to a Celtic v Liverpool Euro tie, and that he was pretty impressed at the rendition of You'll Never Walk Alone sung in unison by both sets of supporters.

Brilliant. When it comes to Michael Marra, the word legend is underused. Met him a couple of times and he was more than kind about my songwriting, playing one of my songs much better than I could, truly inspiring guy. The wonderful thing is he as a TMSTID fan wrote "Hamish the Goalie" about United's McAlpine (and I like it so much better than the, at the time, entertaining "McAlpine's wife") because "we are not Glaswegian about this sort of thing". Died way too young.
