Dean Windass will have gone down in a lot of people’s estimations after his recent interview.

"I'm a crybaby me, and I had tears in my eyes watching my son walk out for one of the biggest clubs in the country with the best fanbase you could ever meet in your life. I was so proud."

Poor bugger is penniless. If the Daily Rangers is prepared to pay for that nothing of an interview more fool them.

Fair enough but I’m sure if some ex players called the Huns the best fan base you could ever meet in your life they would be crucified on here.

He did also call the Rangers fans mongs in a now deleted tweet when one of them said that they hoped his son got cancer. I think that he was proud of his son making progress in his career when he waxed lyrical about the hun support, get them onside. I think he knows what they're like now.

Some rather inaccurate stuff in his interview.

Claims Rowbotham was the referee at Tannadice that day, he wasn't.

Claims Jim Leighton was in goal for DUNDEE UTD that day, he wasn't, he was in goal for Aberdeen.

Claims Alex Miller came back from spells away with Scotland and name dropped folk like Gough - that would be nonsense too.

Unfortunately for him old Deano is a bit (completely) radio rental.

Sounds like Deano enjoyed it more than his son did.

Nicky "nae goals" Maynard has signed for Mansfield Town.

    A very cringeworthy signing video.
