West Bromwich Albion have omitted Craig Dawson for their Championship opener today in a development which may interest the likes of Celtic and Burnley.

The 28-year-old is heavily linked with a move away from West Brom following their relegation from the Premier League last term.

Curious as Celtic won’t pay £50k a week. Maybe Everton in the wings or. he hasn’t trained with them

    Joe to sign tomorrow!
Joe Hart will take a pay cut from his £120,000-a-week Manchester City wages to join fellow Premier League side Burnley – but only after the Blues handed him a lucrative pay-off.

According to the Mirror, Hart’s switch to the Clarets has been faciliated by City giving him a ‘golden handshake’, paying him a sum to compensate for the pay-cut he will be taking when he completes his £4million move to Burnley.

We probably got him for free then with the transfer fee buying him out.

Gibson left out by Brough is a good sign. Losing 2-0 to Millwall

Time is running out - we need a "Yes or No" from Clucas & Gibson in the next day or two. We can't wait until Wednesday & Thursday because of Istanbul.

If they are hesitating about Premier League football and playing for Dyche, are they committed enough to be a Clarets' player? We can't have Gibson stalling and hoping for a late bid by Everton or Leicester

Lancy I guess they’ll be manning the transfer office 24/7 wherever the team and Sean are. Sean said as much post Aberdeen on BT Sport.

Gibson has signed.....according to Tony Pulis on Radio5Live. Good signing as long as it's not to replace Mee. If Mee is going this week, we will still need a 3rd choice CH ahead of Long. Dunne not ready yet.

Apparently West Brom and Newcastle are doing a year long swap, Gayle going to West Brom and Rondom(n) going the other way, strange if true.

    .

all this talk about "Quality" goalscorers is overrated - what we need is - about 12 more defenders - and at least 53 more keepers...... .

Heard negotiations between us and Clucas have broken down, hopefully we will move onto someone better and more willing.

    P.S. Very good Norder

From "reliable sources" Clucas was at Barnfield today. No idea whatsoever if he is signing though!

Swansea won without him at Sheffield. Possibly here for a medical or a heart to Hart.
