just the way they are mate, they're the same in my industry, they think we actually care and would support them

when you explain you couldnt give a f uck but actually hope they get pumped they get all upset

I think in general they honestly think that they have looked after us for over 300 years,fed and clothed us and sent us up THEIR money so the least we can do in return is to support the country who look after our affairs.

The EBC made Hew Edwards remove a Welsh flag from his twitter account because he was not being impartial,meanwhile Boris puts up an England flag outside 10 Downing St the home of the British Prime Minister but that's ok.
They honestly cannie see the problem as both decisions are correct in their eyes.

Thats correct. They also have what is supposed to be the United Kingdom national anthem and think through sheer arrogance its ok. Neighbour is english but doesnt really like football so there is no issue at all, tbh folk at work take it all as banter. it really is like the OF hyprocracy, arrogance and self interest. im old enough to now not care a jot but still will check the score and hope they get pumped

The thing is that their record in major tournaments is actually laughable. We can’t dispute that they are one of the Big 5 European countries alongside Italy, France, Spain and Germany in terms of population size and associated top league, size of domestic Clubs etc etc. Yet their major tournament record is a complete joke. Between them the other 4 have won 11 World Cups and 9 Euros. Lord knows how many other semis and finals they’ve been in as well. THAT lot have won a single World Cup (not many people know that) and have NEVER been to any other final and have barely been in any other semis either. The way they go on about themselves you would think they were some sort of all conquering football machine, yet instead they are actually a bunch of serial failures. Even a small nation like the Dutch have been to 3 World Cup Finals and won a Euros with umpt3en semis chucked in as well. I’d LUV it if Ukraine beat them tonight.

Well better qualified more intelligent people than i am have told me all my life that we should be grateful to the English for everything they have done for us over the centuries and of course allowing us to join the equal union.

So far Ukraine have offered little,their only real chance came from an English defensive mistake by Walker.

You can clearly see that a tournament at home up to today is a big advantage,England at times have ran the legs off the Ukrainian's who's 5 at the back was an open invitation to be put under massive pressure and they were.
An injury has changed the game a little with Ukraine losing a defender and going 4-3-3 and looking a different team when going forward.I still think England are playing a Semi and probably a Final at Wembley next week.

I'm clinging onto this stat that was on the BBC website or as some on here know as EBC 😉. When England have scored first in the knock out stages of the euros in the first 4 minutes they've never won . Drew 2 and lost 3 . The 2 they drew lost on pens.🙂
