I agree but if he goes we certainly won't be spending all the money he was earning on wages. The drop in income for the club next season will be marked and expenditure needs to drop too. The level of player we've been signing so far says it all.

His wage is probably gonna pay for the 3 new signings wages! The savings we will make will be on a reduction of the playing staff in general. I expect to see our squad reduced pretty extensively this season. That is gonna put even more pressure on some of our older players.

Yup - need to see in increase in activity both in and out of the club. I know there will be more than one deal being worked on at once and deals will be announced as they are completed, but first priority has to be get that goal keeper impersonator away from United. Second priority is get Charlie Mulgrew away from United. Personally, I can't start to move on from last season until they're gone and I think the presence of either of these guys will seriously impede our chances of success in the coming season.

On the recruitment side - first priority has to be SIGN A GOAL KEEPER!! Second priority - sign a striker. Any further signings can be positions like winger or more attacking midfielders

I don't think we should be rewarding a goalkeeper being utter ****e by buying him out of his contact. I'd rather use him as a goalpost in training than do that. If he offers to leave for phuck all then fine but otherwise phuck him.

I suspect that is the plan.

Yep, I think you have it spot on. The players we have signed so far are as good as it is going to get. I hope Fletcher stays but I can't see him wanting to end his playing days in the Championship.

Cant use him as a goalpost as the fecker would move out the way!
