But that isnt an answer though. He refuses to say if it is between Hearts, Partick, Stranraer and United, Raith, Cove who he would think it is more unfair to penalise. He has spent too long cheerleading Budge and blaming the SPFL to bother about United's predicament.

I really didn't feel there was any kind of agenda from that tweet in itself, especially after reading his replies.
Trust me if you had been listening to him on Sportsound every week and the daily podcasts he has banging the drum for the Hearts., Inverness ,Rangers axis from day 1. I think his main source was Scott Gardiner who was later exposed by other Championship chairmen* as hatching a plan with Rangers and Hearts to null and void the leagues. English picked the wrong horse but rather than admit he was played he chose to double down and continue to amplify the plotters against the SPFL.

    * “I am happy to speak on the record.

“I always keep notes from every meeting and I am sitting looking at those notes as we speak.

“On the Thursday, April 9 before the Good Friday vote - and I’ve got it here - Scot Gardiner said he was working with Hearts and Rangers to put in a new resolution. He said they would try to put that resolution in before the vote so there would be two resolutions for clubs to vote on.

“If not, and if the SPFL proposals were voted down, then they would try to push on with their own resolution - and that resolution was to void the season with no promotion and no relegation.

    Dave McKinnon Morton.

I’ve just listened to Sportsound from the weekend and, and I can’t believe I’m saying this, but Chick Young was the only one calling it as it is and that Hearts case is a piece of nonsense.

That's the way it has been Chick Young on Sunday's has been the one on the programme that has been standing out as the voice of reason. Just shows you how bad it has become. Ever since Gardiner went on to Sportsound to spin a yarn about clubs being bullied by the SPFL then conveniently making his excuses to come of the call just before Rangers landed their statement making the claims, Sportsound and English in particular has been spellbound by this anti SPFL narrative.

I've still got a bad feeling we'll be in the championship again
