    Blackpool Football Club can now confirm its retained list following the conclusion of the 2023/24 season.

    Options have been activated to extend the contracts of Sonny Carey, Richard O'Donnell, Jack Moore, Jake Daniels and Harvey Bardsley by a further 12 months. However, Marvin Ekpiteta, Callum Connolly, Shayne Lavery, and Matty Virtue are among those who will be leaving the Club when their contracts expire in June. Academy scholar, Tyler Hill, has been offered a professional contract.

    At the end of April our 2023-24 Sky Bet League One season drew to a close, and with planning well underway for the next campaign in August, decisions have been made and communicated to the First Team players whose contracts are due to expire this summer.

    The club have activated one-year options to the following players’ contracts, meaning they will be signed on with the Royals for a further season:

    The goalkeeper has had some good reports this season, winning end of season awards.
