Youth players developed at Tannadice, coached and trained to first team level were a godsend to the club. We invested the money from a yearly sale of a top player and this went a long way to sustain our efforts on and off the pitch. We were able to buy in a few players and through coaching we increased their value for moving on . This money bought us Hampden & European trips that supporters of other teams can only dream of. Our stadium was being upgraded and paid for with the income, and during hard times we were able to survive and pay our way and not screw other businesses. PTBAA.
