Rross, what an interesting comment. I googled it and looked and behold there is a whole range of opinions under the heading of Marxist Feminism. The basic principle is that this political thought links capitalism which is the problem for Marxists and patriarchy which is the problem for feminists. I am not sure that it is fair to call Sweden a Marxist economy, so I'd like to suggest that they have a socialist ideology that does not rely on the creation of a big bad capitalist ogre to be defeated so that Swedes can be successful.

Think you are right. I am not aware that there is any vaccine that works for a corona type virus. If flu is still killing thousands each year and the vaccine treatments are based on some kind of scientific estimate of the correct strain to immunise against, surely covid is going to follow the same pattern?

I think Holyrood should take control and order Scotland to lockdown. At least if all parties other than the SNP voted for it we would be able to claim furlough payments. At present our English suppliers are shutting down and our customers around Dundee are not allowed to come into Dundee to buy from us.

There is no health reason to shut down, I think we agree on that.
