Motherwell finished second because of their ability to beat the teams from the lower end of the table.

Aberdeen let themselves down by some poor games against the diddy's

Stuart McCall or Tommy Wright were more worthy of Manager of the year imo.

Motherwell were very fortunate yesterday and if there was any justice the sheep should have finished second as it was an awful decision by the ref. However, it is not the well's fault and let's hope both teams do the country proud in Europe next season.
And once again if they hadn't had a handball goal allowed to stand to get a 2-2 draw at Fir Park (sorry using DITA's analysis cheated their way too) they would have gone into yesterdays game 2 points behind us and the draw would have suited us which we would have got.

More Wins, More Goals, More points (and cheated just as many points as Aberdeen)

Don't know about this season but the sheep budget will be 250k less for next season.

Oh, and while we're on the subject, how are they gonna find the 2.5 million to pay this year's debt payment?

At the end of the day McInnes has done a great of turning Aberdeen around. Motherwell have done well again to finish second after losing a few good players.
Considering Aberdeen have finished 8th/9th in the last 4 seasons I'm more than happy, that amount of progress in 1 season is excellent.
