It's an odd storm.

Only the bushes/ trees and buildings close to the characters seem to be affected. The trees in the background are perfectly still. It's almost as if there was a wind machine blowing just on them.

Lydia did well to control that high sided van in the wind and then walk straight to the building where Amelia was.

There's some bouncebackability with them gerrin injured. Am still not sure if Harriet is dead or not. I hope Acido (aka Sam) is OK.

Gripping stuff with a few laughs at the budget special effects.

The scriptwriters take all issues raised by the storm very seriously.

It may be that many storylines will result and develop over coming weeks because of events in the storms but that opportunity is entirely coincidental and does not influence our concerns about anyone who may be affected by the incidents in Emmerdale.
