The sheep are always telling us how the North East is free of sectarianism but they're always the first to jump in on OO threads.

In this day and age of the car and our already crowded roads, its defo time tae end the Orange walks theres just far too many and they inconvenience too many people these days. Theres been one in my neck of the woods, the last 2 weekends, about 30 bandsmen followed by about a dozen knuckledraggers protected by the same amount of Polis using two vans. Following the marches was a half mile long tailback of cars, buses and vans all waiting for the neanderthals tae finally get out the way. Keep filth off the streets, end Orange marches. Have yer wee parades in public parks away from normal people doing normal things.

There's a peaceline between those streets.

Ah that would explain why there's no flashpoints further in right enough but out on the street where the marchers are there's no fence - all seems very wierd tbh.

"Personally I think if we can have Martin McGuiness as DFM then we can have a 10 min parade walk up that stretch of the road. ...bare in mind it went up every year through the dark days of the troubles with little trouble."

    * Peter Robinson is FM and he too had a terrorist background - albeit not on a par with McGuinness.

I think the "10 min parade" is a bit
