One basic change from last year... Maturity. We are a relatively young squad & this season are already showing that we are more mature in the way our defense has responded. Last year by this time we had conceded 21 goals... This season 10.

Have we conceded a goal since Bucko got suspended - injured - dropped? Cannot remember but defence seems to have improved since he has stopped playing. Unsure on like for like basis though...

We can't beat the 1st place team this year. And we couldn't last year. Like for like he is correct.

Bit of a coincidence I'd say Roger...Reading should have had 2 goals and if they had showed a bit more composure would have scored relatively easily.

On the contrary Looking at the stats you have shared it absolutely suggests that we have improved our results vs teams outside of the top 6 vs last year, however it is too premature to say if we have improved enough to take more points from the teams at the top of the table - as we have yet to play them yet.

Of course that depends upon whether a team is top 6 when we play them but then drops out of the top 6!

As for minor changes remind me who brought in Wisdom, Thorne, bamford, dawkins, Shotton, Christie, Ibe, Macarel, calero, Roos? the first four of course played a significant part last season - people over look the fact that although the core team is the same there have been significant changes to personnel.
